What to expect
Is it normal to feel nothing the first time?
Yes. Here is why the first twenty minutes can feel like a waiting room, and what usually shifts.

Yes, and we would rather say so plainly on a website than have you sit there at minute fifteen wondering whether you have wasted your money.
The first twenty minutes are often the hardest
Most people take about twenty minutes to stop resisting it. During those twenty minutes it can genuinely feel like nothing is happening, because from the outside nothing is: you are in a chair, in a dim room, doing nothing. That is the entire design and it is also exactly what makes it uncomfortable at first.
What the resistance actually looks like
- Making a mental list. Yours will be very well organized by minute twelve.
- Checking how long is left.
- Deciding whether it is working, which is its own kind of work.
- Thinking about your phone. It is in your bag. It will still be there.
None of this means you are bad at it. It means you arrived from a day, which everybody does.
What people say tends to shift
The thing mentioned most often is how quickly the noise drops once they stop trying — and that it happens after they give up on it happening. The second is sleep that night. Plenty of people tell us they slept more deeply the night of a session than they had in a while.
Experiences vary a great deal from person to person, and we would rather you formed your own view than arrived expecting ours.
If you still feel nothing
Then you had an hour where nothing was asked of you, which is not nothing. Come back once more if you are curious, or do not — and if you are weighing up a package on the strength of one quiet hour, call first. Frannie has talked plenty of people down from a bigger booking than they needed.
Not sure if this is for you? Call or text Frannie for fifteen minutes. It is free, there is no pitch, and she will tell you honestly whether a couple of hours, a package, an overnight or none of the above makes sense. (561) 531-7178
