Workshops
Turning triggers into treasures: the method, explained
Frannie has taught this for thirty years. It does not require you to believe anything.

Frannie Sheridan has spent thirty years performing solo internationally and teaching workshops on stress — to veterans, to trauma survivors, and to organizations full of people running on empty. The method she teaches is called turning triggers into treasures.
The one-line version
A trigger is information. Most of us treat it as an emergency, which costs a great deal and tells us nothing. The method is a way of treating it as information instead.
It does not require you to believe anything
This matters to her and she says it early in every workshop. There is no framework to sign up to, no worldview attached. People arrive skeptical fairly often and she considers that a reasonable starting position.
It is funny, which is the point
Frannie is a comedian by trade and the workshops are genuinely funny — which she will tell you is the only reason anyone remembers anything from them a week later. A room that has laughed is a room that is still listening.
Where it came from
Not from a course. Her own route was not academic — she came up through her own history and out the other side into something she got tired of having no word for, so she coined one: post-traumatic joy. She is unreasonably evangelical about it and does not pretend otherwise.
The portable part
The piece most people actually use afterwards is the three-minute breathing and humming exercise. It takes minutes, needs nothing, and works in a grocery store line. She will teach it to you on the phone for free.
Where to find it
She runs workshops at the center, and she takes them out to teams, events and livestreams. If you want the method rather than the room, that is the route.
Not sure if this is for you? Call or text Frannie for fifteen minutes. It is free, there is no pitch, and she will tell you honestly whether a couple of hours, a package, an overnight or none of the above makes sense. (561) 531-7178
