What is the three-minute breathing and humming exercise?

Frannie will teach it to you on the phone for free. Here is what it is and why she keeps giving it away.

If you call the center and talk to Frannie for fifteen minutes, she will almost certainly teach you this before you hang up, whether or not you book anything. People find that strange. Here is the thinking.

What it is

Three minutes of deliberate breathing paired with humming — what Frannie calls frumming, humming with love consciousness. That is it. No equipment, no app, no position you have to get into.

Why humming and not just breathing

Because breathing exercises are easy to do wrongly and easy to abandon. Adding a sound gives you something to actually attend to, and it makes it obvious when you have stopped. You cannot hum and simultaneously rehearse an argument. That is most of the point.

Where you can do it

A grocery store line. A parking lot before you go in. The three minutes between one call and the next. It is portable, which matters far more than whether it is impressive.

Why she gives it away

Two reasons, and she is direct about both. The first is that it costs her nothing and it might help you on a Tuesday when you are nowhere near North Palm Beach. The second is that she would rather you had something that works at home than book an hour you did not need.

She will also sometimes tell you to save your money and come back in a month. That happens more than you would expect from a business with a phone number on the website.

Ask for it

Call and say you heard she teaches a breathing thing. Fifteen minutes, free, no pitch — and you can hang up with something useful even if you never visit.

Not sure if this is for you? Call or text Frannie for fifteen minutes. It is free, there is no pitch, and she will tell you honestly whether a couple of hours, a package, an overnight or none of the above makes sense. (561) 531-7178
